🔗 7. Connected Accounts — Facebook, Instagram, Google and YouTube
If you choose to use Connect Your Business (thepixelmart.com/connect/), you can authorise piXelmart to read information from accounts you already own. It is entirely optional — nothing else on this site depends on it — and you decide which accounts and which Pages to include, on the platform’s own permission screen.
What we read. Read-only, and only what you approve:
- Facebook — the list of Pages you administer; each Page’s name, category and follower count; how many posts it has and when it last posted; and the Business that owns those Pages.
- Instagram — the professional account linked to an approved Page: its username, follower and post counts, and its reach.
- Google Business Profile — the business locations you manage, their reviews and ratings, and how complete each profile is.
- YouTube — your channel, its subscriber count, and the public performance figures for your videos.
What we do not do. We never see your password. We do not read your private messages, direct messages or email. We do not post, comment, advertise or message on your behalf. We do not sell, rent or transfer this information to anyone, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
Why we read it. Solely to show you a report on your own digital presence and to recommend which piXelmart services would improve it. It is shown to you, and to piXelmart staff working on your account. Nothing else.
What we store. One encrypted authorisation token per connected account, held against your piXelmart account, together with the date you connected. Tokens are encrypted at rest and are never sent to your browser or to any third party.
Removing it. Press Disconnect on the same page and the stored authorisation is deleted immediately. You can also revoke our access directly from Facebook, Instagram, Google or YouTube, and you can ask us to delete everything we hold at thepixelmart.com/data-deletion/.
Google Limited Use. piXelmart’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalised artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models, and we do not transfer it except as necessary to provide or improve the feature you asked for, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable law.

Our platform is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
